"A RETURN to growth in 2014 had appeared to herald a new era for Greece. Instead, the calling of snap elections on January 25th has revived fears that the country will again be the spark that ignites a new phase of the euro crisis. That fear rests on the possibility that Syriza, a leftist party that wants to renegotiate Greece’s bail-out deal with the European Union and the IMF, will form the next government. Polling gives Syriza a slim lead, although even if it retains that advantage, some doubt it would be able to form a governing coalition in parliament." See here
