Can small caps rebound enough to regain key weekly level?

The Russell 2000 daily chart here is very interesting. We have what appears to be a bottom reversal on large volume from a very oversold level.

Here on the Russell 2000 weekly cash chart we are looking for the close to be back above the key weekly support. This is already a long term reversal pattern but it does not go down in a straight line.
