U.S. Home ownership at 1994 levels


It seems everywhere you look there are just no signs of this recovery that the Fed keeps insisting is here. The only thing that is up is consumer confidence. Consumers have never been this confident since just before the GFC. The latest consumer confidence survey was the best since 2004. The consumers are certainly not interested in real estate if this chart is any indication. Something has gone very wrong.
