A big week ahead for Europe with the ECB meeting and the Greek vote. I was just reading that Russia has announced that it will assist Greece should they leave the Euro zone. I am of the understanding that it is illegal for Greece to leave the economic zone. The shock of a 'Grexit' could be dire. I will be posting updates here and on Twitter through the week as I see anything of interest.
The DAX weekly chart ended with a breakout. Since the action by the SNB to unpeg the franc from the euro, it seems that the market has taken that as an indication that the ECB will announce some sort of sovereign debt buying program in the week ahead. The DAX rallied sharply on the plunge in the euro. It looks like the market might be calling Draghi out. Lets see how it plays out.
